(1) The quality of raw water is unstable and fluctuates frequently, resulting in too much particulate matter entering the filter element and shortening the cycle;

(2) The pre-treatment operation effect is poor. The flocculant and scale inhibitor added in the pre-treatment are incompatible with each other or do not match with the water source. The viscous substances formed adhere to the filter element surface, resulting in the reduction of the filter element filtering area and frequent replacement of the water filter element;

(3) The water filter cartridges is of poor quality. The inner and outer hole diameters of the filter element with poor quality are basically the same. In fact, only the outer layer plays a role of interception. The filter hole diameter of a good filter element is gradually reduced from the outside to the inside. Compared with the inner layer, the filter accuracy is 5 ± 0.5 µ m, and the amount of pollution is larger and larger. A long time can ensure that the quality of the effluent water is qualified.
