The fully automatic self-cleaning filter is composed of shell, multi element filter element, backwashing mechanism, electric cabinet, reducer, electric valve, differential pressure controller, etc. The inner cavity of the filter housing is divided into upper and lower cavities by the diaphragm plate in the filter housing. The upper cavity is equipped with multiple filter elements, which makes full use of the filtering space and significantly reduces the filter volume. A backwash suction cup is installed in the lower cavity. During operation, the turbid liquid enters the lower chamber of the filter through the inlet, and then enters the inner chamber of the filter element through the diaphragm hole. The impurities larger than the gap of the filter element are intercepted, and the clean liquid passes through the gap to the upper chamber, and then is sent out from the outlet.

The main factors to be considered when selecting self-cleaning filter equipment are as follows:

1. Suspension (material) concentration of filter medium

Before selecting self-cleaning filter equipment, first of all, you should have a clear understanding of the materials that need to be filtered in production. The concentration of suspension, particle size distribution of solid particles, etc. shall be measured, and the type of filtering equipment shall be preliminarily determined according to the measurement.

2. Processing flow

In the production process, there is a large amount of materials to be filtered. It is advantageous to use filters with continuous or automatic operation. The size of the handling capacity is related to the size of the caliber.

3. Filtering purpose

Where is the self-cleaning filter used? After filtering treatment, some of them are valuable solids recovered, some are filtrate purified, and some are both. Most customers of Lefilter are used for water filtration, such as water filtration in power plants, sewage treatment plants, metallurgy, steel, agriculture, municipal administration, central air-conditioning, circulating cooling water and other industries.

4. Structure and material of self-cleaning filter

If the filter stock solution is not highly corrosive, the material requirements should not be too high when selecting the filter, otherwise the cost will be high. However, in the paper industry, due to the strong corrosion of filtration, stainless steel is generally used. The model with simple structure shall be considered as far as possible to avoid maintenance difficulties.

5. Required filtering accuracy

The filter screen directly affects the filtering capacity and filtering accuracy of the filtering equipment. If it is not properly selected, even advanced filters cannot play a good role together.
