Aviation kerosene filters have extremely high requirements on the quality and purity of aviation kerosene. Impurities and moisture will enter into aviation kerosene from refining to filling. If effective pollution control is not carried out, flight safety will be seriously threatened.

Jet fuel filter has two products: pretreatment filter and coalescing separation filter.

The pretreatment filter is mostly used in the places where the particle pollution is serious, such as the refined product warehouse, the transit oil depot, and the airport oil storage depot. It is installed in front of the filter separator and used in series, which can effectively prolong the life of the coalescing filter element; , When used in front of the control valve, it can effectively intercept large mechanical impurities and prevent them from being damaged mechanically.

The filter separator is the core unit of aviation kerosene purification. It has dual functions of filtering impurities and removing water. Through filtration, coalescence and separation, it can remove tiny water droplets and impurities in oil products to meet the purification requirements of oil products.

Filter installation steps

Clean the filter housing thoroughly. The inlet and outlet of the casing are connected to the pipeline of the filtration system, pay attention to the direction when connecting, and connect the joints according to the pipeline instructions.

Open one end of the filter element opening to check whether the gasket is intact. Fully insert the filter element into the filter holder socket vertically from the screw rod.

After inserting all the filter elements, buckle the pressure plate to fix it, then install the upper head, and open the air release valve on the top of the shell. Open the inlet valve slightly to allow the liquid to enter the housing until the liquid overflows from the bleed valve at the top of the shell, at which point close the bleed valve and slowly adjust and open the downstream outlet valve until it is fully open.
