Xinxiang, Henan, August 2024 - In the field of industrial production and environmental protection, the stable operation of air filters is crucial to ensuring air quality and maintaining equipment safety. As a leading domestic filter equipment supplier, Henan Xinxiang Lifelte Filter Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Lifelte") has been deeply engaged in self-cleaning air filter research and development for more than ten years, and its products are widely used in steel, chemical, power and other industries with high efficiency filtration, intelligent self-cleaning and long-term stability. Recently, the Liffert technical team conducted a special study on the common faults and maintenance methods of self-cleaning air filters to provide scientific operation and maintenance guidelines for enterprise users to further improve the service life and operation efficiency of equipment.

Zhang Gong, technical director of Liffert, pointed out that although the self-cleaning air filter has automatic cleaning function, it may still face the following typical faults under complex conditions: Filter clogging and pressure difference in the industrial environment, the dust concentration is high, the particles are diverse, and when the filter fails to start the self-cleaning process in time or the filter material is aging, it is easy to lead to clogging. Liffert adopts the "gradient filtration + pulse backblowing" technology, and its filter is composed of multi-layer composite fibers, which can effectively intercept pollutants of different particle sizes, and provide real-time warning through the intelligent pressure difference monitoring system (such as setting a threshold of ±500Pa to trigger self-cleaning). If the pressure difference is found to be continuously higher than the set value, check whether the filter is damaged or the air source pressure of the backblowing system is insufficient. Automatic cleaning system failure Automatic cleaning mechanism (such as vibration cleaning, blowback cleaning) failure is common controller failure, actuator stuck or sensor false alarm. Liffert products are equipped with dual redundant control systems, when the primary controller fails, the backup system can be seamlessly switched; At the same time, its self-developed "acoustic assisted cleaning" technology uses low-frequency vibration to enhance cleaning efficiency and reduce wear of mechanical components. If the cleaning frequency is abnormal, the solenoid valve, cylinder lubrication and sensor sensitivity should be checked first. Aging of electrical and transmission components In a long-term operating environment, the performance of the motor, transmission chain and terminal may be degraded due to high temperature and corrosion. Liefert adopts IP65 protection grade motor and adds anti-corrosion coating for high humidity scenarios; The transmission system adopts modular design for easy disassembly and maintenance. If there is startup delay or abnormal sound, it is recommended to replace the lubricating oil regularly, tighten the connecting parts, and use an infrared thermometer to monitor the temperature of the electrical components.

Scientific maintenance method: preventive management, prolong equipment life Based on a large number of customer cases, Liffert summed up the "three-stage maintenance method", the passive maintenance into active prevention: the first stage: daily inspection and data monitoring visual monitoring: the filter comes with the LED status indicator (green operation/red alarm) quickly judge the status; Intelligent platform linkage: Remotely view the filter life, cleaning times, energy consumption curve and other data through the Lifeel cloud management system, and pre-set maintenance reminders (such as automatic push notifications when the remaining life of the filter is less than 30%); Key points of on-site inspection: Record the air inlet wind speed and reverse blowing pressure every week. If the wind speed drops by 20%, check immediately. The second stage: periodic maintenance and calibration filter maintenance: set the cleaning cycle according to the working condition (it is recommended to conduct a deep cleaning every 2000 hours), and use compressed air (pressure ≤0.6MPa) to purge from the inside of the filter to avoid fiber damage; Control system calibration: Calibrate the differential pressure sensor and temperature sensor every quarter to ensure that the threshold setting is accurate (for example, the upper limit of the differential pressure can be adjusted to 800Pa in the steel plant environment); Lubrication of transmission components: Check motor bearings and chains monthly for lubrication, and use food-grade greases (such as the LFT-Grease recommended by Liffert) to reduce the risk of corrosion. The third stage: Performance upgrade and transformation of the filter material upgrade: for the ultrafine dust scene, it can be replaced by Lifeldt nano-coated filter (filtration accuracy of 0.1μm), with the "plasma pre-charging" technology to improve the capture efficiency; Energy saving optimization: Adjust the backblowing frequency through the inverter to reduce clean energy consumption during low-load periods (such as automatically switching to energy-saving mode at night, energy consumption is reduced by 15%); Life extension: Using Liffert's "Filter regeneration Service", the filter life is extended by 40% through ultrasonic cleaning and coating repair.

Customer case: Practice verification, significant benefits After a steel enterprise adopts Lifert LFT-AF6000 self-cleaning filter, through the implementation of the "three-stage maintenance method", the equipment failure rate is reduced by 67%, and the annual maintenance cost is saved by 120,000 yuan. Mr. Wang, the equipment manager of the enterprise, said: "Lifelter not only provides high-quality products, its maintenance program is more systematic, so that the filter is always in the best condition, to ensure the continuous operation of the sinter unit.

In the era of Industry 4.0, the intelligent and preventive maintenance of equipment has become the key to reduce costs and increase efficiency. Driven by technological innovation, Liffert helps customers break through the bottleneck of traditional filter operation and maintenance by building an integrated solution of "product + service". In the future, the company will continue to deepen self-cleaning filtration technology and promote the industry to more efficient and reliable air quality management
