Introduction:The shallow sand filter incorporates one or more standard high-speed sand cylinder units. These units feature a distinct internal water distribution system as well as water collectors, and are equipped with a one-of-a-kind automatic flushing valve. LFQ-600 Shallow sand filter

The shallow sand filter consists of at least one standard high-speed sand cylinder unit. These units are equipped with a special internal water distribution mechanism and water collectors, along with a unique automatic flushing valve. This valve permits the individual backwashing of multiple standard high-speed sand cylinders during the regular operation of the system, and all of this is managed by a fully automated program.

Working Principle

The shallow sand filter is constructed by combining multiple filtration units side by side. During the filtering phase of the system, unfiltered water is evenly dispersed via a uniquely designed water distributor developed by our company. In a laminar flow pattern, the water then permeates through the filler layer, which consists of refined homogeneous quartz sand within the filter. As the water travels through this packing layer, impurities are effectively captured and retained within it.

Situated at the bottom of the filter are several evenly spaced water collectors. Their function is to gather and extract the filtered water in a uniform manner. The utilization of level flow filtration empowers the filter to operate at high flow rates while still attaining a commendable filtration outcome. This design not only ensures efficient water treatment but also allows for consistent and reliable purification, meeting the demands of various applications.
