Failure of RO membrane reverse osmosis system usually occurs at least the following situations:

First, in the working pressure, conductivity is normal, the amount of water produced decreases;

Second, the desalination rate is reduced after standardization, which is manifested in the reverse osmosis system as an increase in the conductivity of the produced water;

Third, the standardization of the water production decreased, usually need to increase the operating pressure to maintain the rated water production, that is, the working pressure rises;

1, standardized after the decline in water production

RO system after the standardization of water production decreased, according to the following three situations to find the cause:

(1) RO system of the first section of the water production is reduced, there is the deposition of particulate pollutants;

(2) The last section of the RO system water production decreased, there is scaling pollution;

(3) RO system of all sections of the water production is reduced, there is a pollution blockage;

2, standardized after the decline in water production is one of the most common system failure, the possible causes are:

(1) the reduction of the membrane module that is to be operated in accordance with the designed number of membrane modules;

(2) Reverse osmosis membrane low-pressure operation that is to run below the designed base pressure (there may be a throttle valve);

(3) found that the membrane module pressure tightness that is, when the reverse osmosis membrane in greatly exceeding the baseline pressure conditions will occur under the conditions of operation of the membrane module pressure tightness, must be replaced;

(4) The lowering of the operating temperature, according to the design temperature of 25 degrees operation;

(5) Contamination of the membrane occurs. Metal oxides or dirt attached to the membrane surface and cause reverse osmosis membrane clogging (the most important).

(6) the mixing of oil, pay attention to the oil should never enter the feed water, oil will contaminate the reverse osmosis membrane;

(7) ensure that the filter element in the filter is regularly replaced, long time not replaced, will lead to filter blockage, thus affecting the reverse osmosis water intake;

3, conductivity rise solution

(1) First of all, make sure that the valves are opened correctly and the ratio of pure water to concentrated water is correct;

(2) Whether the reverse osmosis membrane is contaminated such as inorganic scaling CaSO4, MgSO4, BaSO4, organic pollution, metal oxide pollution;

(3) Whether the reverse osmosis membrane is in contact with strong oxidizing agents (such as Cl2), etc., and is degraded by strong oxidizing agents. Any contact of oxidizing substances will damage the membrane element;

4, the reasons for the decline in water production and solutions

(1) RO reverse osmosis membrane is polluted or blocked;

(2) found that the membrane module pressure tightness that is, when the reverse osmosis membrane in greatly exceeding the baseline pressure conditions of operation will occur in the membrane module pressure tightness, must replace the membrane module.

(3) whether the working pressure reaches the rated working pressure of the reverse osmosis membrane. According to the model of reverse osmosis membrane to determine the rated working pressure, and appropriately increase the inlet pressure, you can increase the amount of water production.

(4) The raw water contains a certain concentration of suspended and dissolved substances.

(5) The influence of water temperature

Reverse osmosis membrane rated water production is based on 25 ℃ design, the temperature of every 1 ℃, water production decreased by 2-3%.
