"Lithium" is one of China's 24 national strategic mineral resources. Metal "lithium" is known as "white oil". It has extremely strong electrochemical activity and energy storage function. It plays an important role in aerospace, new energy and other fields. At present, China's lithium resources are abundant but underdeveloped. Most of the lithium resources are in the form of salt lake brine. Therefore, efficient development of salt lake lithium resources will help to quickly get rid of dependence on lithium resource imports and promote scientific and technological research and development.
For the mining and application of lithium resources, cleaning and filtering impurities in lake water is an indispensable step. The precision slag filter developed and produced by Lefilter is used to remove tiny particles and impurities in liquids. As an efficient filtering equipment, it can effectively filter lithium-containing solutions during the process of lithium extraction from salt lakes.
This project is aimed at the comprehensive development and utilization of lithium resources in the salt lake of a mining group in Central Asia. The salt lake has 2.14 million tons of lithium carbonate equivalent resources and an average lithium ion concentration of 270 mg/L. Since the lake water contains lithium, its resources can be regarded as reserves, so the recoverable resources are large, and the magnesium-lithium ratio of the water body is low, and the overall resource quality is good.
This project adopts the first batch of battery-grade monohydrate lithium hydroxide extraction technology, which first solves the problem of silicon removal in qualified liquids, while reducing the turbidity in the alkali solution and alleviating the pressure of the subsequent membrane system.
The precision deslagging filter is a highly efficient filtering device. In the process of extracting lithium from salt lakes, the precision deslagging device can filter the solution containing lithium. When the liquid passes through the filter, the silica gel is intercepted by the filter plate, thereby achieving the purpose of separating impurities. As the filtration proceeds, the silica gel gradually accumulates on the filter plate to form a filter cake layer, which improves the filtration efficiency. When the filter cake layer reaches a certain thickness, the drive device will automatically start to discharge the filter cake layer, thereby achieving lithium extraction.
