LIFIELD multi-column self-cleaning filter is an advanced, efficient and easy-to-operate automatic filtration device, which is mainly composed of shell, filter element, backwashing rotating mechanism, differential pressure controller and electronic control part. Through the multi-column structure design, multiple filter columns are installed in one filter cylinder, and the self-cleaning function can be realised by using the clean water filtered by itself, which is widely used in various fields that need to filter impurities and purify water quality.

 

Features

Powerful self-cleaning function: self-cleaning filter with self-filtered water, no need to remove the filter for cleaning, and no additional cleaning system required. Uninterrupted continuous water supply: multiple filters in the tank work at the same time, and are cleaned one by one during backwashing, and other filters continue to work to ensure continuous water supply.

Accurate automatic backwashing: the pressure difference between the clear water area and the muddy water area is monitored by the differential pressure controller, and when the set value is reached, the electric control box controls the backwashing mechanism to start and shut down automatically.

High filtration accuracy: The filtration accuracy covers 10 microns to 3000 microns, which can be selected according to different needs, and can effectively remove various sticky substances, colloids, sediment and other mechanical impurities in the water.

Large filtration area: It is equipped with several filter columns in the whole space of the tank to make full use of the filtration space, and the effective filtration area is generally 3-5 times that of the inlet area, with low backwashing frequency and small resistance loss.

Reliable backwashing mechanism: the tank is divided into a clear water area and a turbid water cavity, the backwash suction cup and the filter column are installed in two chambers, separated by a partition between the two chambers, and the suction cup is not in contact with impurities, which is durable and reliable.

Guaranteed operation safety: the design is equipped with a safety protection clutch, which can cut off the power and protect the mechanism in time when the backwash encounters overload resistance.

High degree of automation: automatic program control, automatic filtration, automatic identification of differential pressure, automatic backwashing, automatic sewage discharge, low operating cost. High efficiency and low energy consumption: the effective filtration area is large, so that the backwashing frequency is low, the sewage discharge volume is small, and the system resistance loss is small.

Working principle

When water enters the filter from the inlet, it first enters the muddy water area, and then the liquid flows from the inside of the filter to the outside, in the process, solid particles are trapped on the inside of the filter. As filtration progresses, impurities accumulate on the inner surface of the filter element, causing the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the filter to gradually increase. When the differential pressure increases to the set value, or the timer reaches the preset time, the electric control box sends a signal to drive the backwashing mechanism. When the backwash suction cup mouth and the filter inlet are opposite, the blowdown valve is opened, the system is depressurised and drained, and a negative pressure area appears on the inside of the suction cup and the filter element, and the backwash pressure difference is controlled at 3-4 times the filter pressure difference value, which forces part of the net circulating water to flow from the outside of the filter element into the inner side of the filter element, and the impurity particles adsorbed on the inner wall of the filter element enter the disc with the water flow and are discharged from the sewage valve.
