As a new type of filter, Lifelt's fully automatic self-cleaning filter has many advantages such as automatic cleaning, automatic sewage discharge, continuous cleaning, high degree of automation, etc., so it has a wide range of applications in many fields. Many problems and failures may be encountered during the use of this filter, and these problems and failures often affect the normal operation of the self-cleaning filter, thereby affecting the normal operation of the water system. It is very important to understand the basic structure of the self-cleaning filter and the troubleshooting of common faults to ensure the normal operation of the water system. The following is a brief analysis of some problems and corresponding solutions that are prone to self-cleaning filters.
1. Water leakage occurs in the self-cleaning filter
The water leakage problem of the self-cleaning filter generally occurs in the drive shaft part of the filter (the leakage of the cylinder body and the flange welding part is not within this scope). There are basically two reasons for this problem. One is the material of the drive shaft seal ring. Or the specification does not meet the requirements, so just replace the sealing ring that meets the requirements. The second is that the sealing ring wears out after a long time of operation, causing the seal between the drive shaft and the filter body to leak and water leakage occurs. In this case, replacing the sealing ring with the corresponding specification can solve the problem.
2. The automatic drain valve of the self-cleaning filter is faulty
The self-cleaning filter of some users’ systems will have an automatic drain valve failure after using it for a long period of time. The specific performance is that the drain valve does not operate during the automatic cleaning of the filter or the drain valve cannot be opened and cannot be closed. Manufacturers of self-cleaning filters for this problem generally use domestic solenoid valves as sewage valves. This solenoid valve is pilot-operated, and the pilot hole is opened by the electromagnet first, and then the diaphragm is opened by the pressure of the water in the system to open the valve. . Since the sewage contains a lot of impurities, it is very easy to block the pilot hole, causing the solenoid valve to not work or not to close tightly after opening. The self-cleaning filter produced by Lifelt uses electric ball valves or hydraulic solenoid valves imported from Israel as the sewage valve, which completely solves the problem that ordinary solenoid valves are easy to fail when used as self-cleaning filter automatic sewage valves.
3, automatic cleaning control system failure
In the process of using the self-cleaning filter, some users will find that the frequent startup of the self-cleaning filter causes the increase of the cleaning water volume and the shortening of the filter life. This problem is caused by the failure of the filter's automatic control system or parameter settings. . This is mainly the setting of the cleaning differential pressure and cleaning time of the differential pressure controller. Frequent startup of the filter cleaning system may generally be solved by setting a larger differential pressure range or adjusting the cleaning time of the control system.
