Henan Xinxiang Lifelte Filter Co., Ltd. was founded in 2008, is a research and development, production and sales of environmental protection equipment enterprises, the main products include filtration equipment, sewage treatment equipment and so on. The company adheres to the concept of "purifying the environment with technology", cooperates with a number of universities, has more than 30 independent patented technologies, and its products are exported to 78 countries around the world, serving more than 40,000 customers in the fields of steel, chemical, electric power, such as Baosteel Group, Huadian International and so on. Liefert is known for "efficient, durable and worry free", providing customers with the whole process support from selection to after-sales shallow sand filter troubleshooting guide Shallow sand filter is the "purification guard" in industrial water treatment, but don't panic when you encounter a fault!
Liefert technical team summarizes 5 common problems and solving skills, understand at a glance, easy to deal with! Failure phenomenon: Sudden rise or fluctuation of pressure possible cause: filter sand blocked by impurities (such as water is too dirty, filter sand "gasp"). The backwash system failed and the filter sand could not clean itself. Clogged pipe or valve. Solution: Check the inlet water quality, if the water source is turbid, install a pre-filter (such as a precision filter). Start the backwash, press the "backwash" button on the device, and let the filter sand automatically "bathe" (usually every 24-48 hours). Clean the pipe, disassemble the filter inlet and outlet, and clean the blockage with tools. Test regularly with pressure gauge, the pressure exceeds 0.6MPa to check! Fault phenomenon: The water output is small, the water flow is slow possible cause: the filter sand caking (not backwashing for a long time, the filter sand "clumping"). Insufficient inlet pressure (e.g. insufficient pump power). Pipe valve not fully open. Solution: Manually clean the filter sand, disassemble the filter, wash the filter sand with a high-pressure water gun, and replace it with new sand when it is serious (0.5-1.2mm particle size quartz sand is recommended). Check the water pump to ensure that the water inlet pressure is between 0.2-0.6MPa, and replace the high-power water pump if necessary. Confirm valve status and check that all valves are fully open, especially the inlet and outlet valves. Fault phenomenon: backwashing is ineffective, the filter sand is still dirty Possible cause: backwashing time or strength is not enough. The backwash nozzle is blocked (e.g. by sand or foreign matter). Insufficient air pressure (compressed air pressure less than 0.4MPa). Solution: Adjust the backwashing parameters, set the backwashing time to 5-10 minutes on the control panel, and adjust the intensity to medium. Clean the nozzle, remove the backwash line, and dredge the nozzle hole with a fine wire. Check the air source, ensure that the compressed air pressure is up to standard, and repair the air compressor if necessary. Fault symptom: Control panel alarm or failure Possible cause: pressure sensor failure (such as probe dirty or loose line). Program error or damaged control panel. Solution: Clean the sensor and wipe the pressure sensor probe with alcohol cotton to check whether the line is in good contact. To restart the device, hold down the Reset button on the control panel for 3 seconds. If the device does not work, contact the after-sales service.
Upgrade procedures, technical personnel remote guidance update control system. Fault phenomenon: filter sand loss or filter water leakage possible cause: filter sand particle size is not appropriate (such as using too fine sand). Aging of seal ring or corrosion of tank. Solution: Replace the filter sand, choose standard particle size quartz sand (0.5-1.2mm), avoid the use of gravel or fine sand. Seal maintenance, replacement of aged seals (at least once a year), corrosion parts of the tank can be repaired with epoxy resin. Maintenance tips: Make the filter "longevity" secret regular physical examination, check the filter sand, pipe, valve status every month, record pressure and flow data. Backwash is not lazy, and the backwash cycle is set strictly according to the equipment instructions. Anti-rust maintenance, when the equipment is out of service, drain the internal water and apply anti-rust oil. 24 hours after sales, in the event of complex failures, immediately call the Lifeldt after-sales hotline, engineers remote guidance or on-site service. Although the shallow sand filter is small, it is the "heart" of water treatment. Mastering common troubleshooting skills can not only save maintenance costs, but also ensure stable production. Liefert commitment: all products provide 1-year warranty, lifelong technical support, so that you can use more assured!
